Well here we are our
first review and look at what we have, The Zalman CNPS3100.
Zalman said "Worlds highest performance heatsink" so lets
se how true that is.
The other day I was Quite surprised to receive a parcel from Korea
so it didn't take me to long to open it. Once it was open I was amazed
to see 2 smaller boxes label as the CNPS3100 and CNPS5001-cu (yes
this will be the next review). But I couldn't play with my new heatsink
till I got home from school (yes still at school) and that day just
dragged on and on. Any way lets have a closer look at this beautifully
designed heatsink and see if it performs as well as it looks.
Well the CNPS3100
comes in a larger box than most heatsinks but i reallized why once
i had opedn the box. Inside you will find the Flower heatsink (FHS),
80mm fan and bracket, thermal grease, 6 screws, 2 mounting clips,
noisless connectors and a users manual.
The heatsink ist's self is a
Flower design consisting of multiple copper fins that are spread
out and joined together at the bottom by 2 aluminum block that bolt
together trough every fin. This means that the base is tightly packed
and this produces a mirror finish base so that there is no need
Now we have had a closer look
at the heatsink its self lets have a look at the spec's.
